San Francisco’s Halloween Pub Crawl Returns for Four Nights in 2025

San Francisco is preparing once again for one of its most anticipated October events, the annual Halloween Bar Crawl. Over four days, thousands of attendees will make their way through dozens of bars across the city

The event, organized by CrawlSF, is scheduled for Friday, October 24, Saturday, October 25, Friday, October 31 & Saturday, November 1. Hours vary by day, beginning in the early evening and extending late into the night, with one Saturday crawl beginning in the afternoon.

Crawloween has grown into the largest Halloween party of its kind in San Francisco. More than 15,000 people attended in 2024 and this year’s turnout is expected to be even larger. The crawl includes over 40 bars, from Mayes and McTeagues on Polk Street to The Brixton and Palm House in the Marina and many more.

Neighborhoods including the Marina, Russian Hill, Polk Gulch & North Beach will participate in the event with each bar offering discounted drink specials and more.

Participating Bars: Shanghai Kellys, Providence, Wreck Room, The Buccaneer, Westwood, Silver Cloud, Bamboo Hut, The Showdown, Tupelo, Savoy Tivoli, Mayes, Mcteagues, Route 101, Lush Lounge, R Bar, Decodance, Trinity, Sacred Taco, Jaxson, Del Mar, Campus, Comet Club, White Rabbit, Taco Rouge, Palm House, Rockwell, Hemlock, The Royale, Kung Fu Action Theater, Amsterdam, Blue Light, The Brixton, Hanaro, El Lopo, Gino & Carlo, Chief Sullivans, Northstar Cafe, Union Street Ale House & more.

Details and Highlights

Participants can check in at one of several starting points, including Mayes Oyster House on Polk Street, Rick & Roxy’s on Lombard Street and Union Street Ale House. Additional check-in locations will be announced in the coming weeks. At check-in, attendees receive wristbands granting them entry to every participating bar.

Special features of the event include a Halloween costume contest, the “Find the Gnome” contest, giveaways, party favors, and the Pub Crawl Party Bus on select days.
